FLOCAN 2 GRID
New solutions for platforms and innovative technologies associated with the power off-take and network hook-up of floating offshore wind farms.
The objective of this project is to investigate and develop the technical-economic feasibility of two real-scale floating technologies, as well as the energy off-take system and the necessary infrastructure to feed into the grid in a real representative operating environment. The project seeks to become a reference in a strategic sector such as the production of wind energy in medium and deep waters through the first experimental offshore wind farm in our national territory.
